In addition to co-founding Element and helping to manage day-to-day and strategic operations, Chris plays a lead role in conducting qualitative and quantitative research studies for clients. His research interests center on health-related businesses, new media and technology, lodging, and retail.
Over the course of his 30-year career he has worked on both the supplier and client sides. Chris holds BA degrees in both Sociology and Broadcasting and an MA in Sociology, with an emphasis on research methods and statistics. With varied skills, he can conduct everything from virtual focus groups with oncologists to large-scale customer segmentation and discrete choice studies among hotel guests.
When not working, Chris likes spending time with his wife and their children. He continues to stay active and is an avid soccer player, runner, and cyclist. He has been a youth and high school coach of various sports for over two decades, and by combining his interests in helping others and traveling he volunteers both locally in central Kentucky and internationally.
