Chris graduated from Western Kentucky University with BA degrees in both Sociology and Broadcasting, and went on to earn an MA in Sociology. Over the course of his 30 year career he has worked on both the supplier and client sides, including a stint managing new media and interactive research at Discovery Channel.
In addition to co-founding Element and helping to manage day-to-day and strategic operations, Chris plays a lead role in conducting qualitative and quantitative research studies for clients. His research interests center on health-related businesses, new media and technology, lodging, and retail. With varied skills, he can conduct everything from focus groups with oncologists to a large-scale multivariate segmentation study among videogame players.
When not working, Chris likes spending time with his wife and their children. By combining his interests in helping others and traveling he has made trips to Uganda and Cuba the last few years for volunteer work.
